Healing through movement

JoyFlow Kids empowers at-risk youth in Los Angeles through summer camp experiences, recreational therapy, and creative mentorship.

Our journey

How JoyFlow Kids Began and Grew

Founded by Eulexus Thomas, JoyFlow Kids started with a simple belief: at-risk youth in Los Angeles deserve spaces where they can heal, express themselves, and thrive. What began as a vision has grown into a movement. Today, we've reached over 150 young people through summer camps, art workshops, and mentorship programs that combine recreational therapy, yoga, and creative expression to help children navigate emotions and build social skills.

Our programs

Healing through movement and creative expression

JoyFlow Kids offers specialized recreational therapy programs designed to help at-risk youth build emotional skills, connect with peers, and discover joy through yoga, art, and mentorship.

01

Emotional regulation

Children learn to identify and manage their emotions through guided yoga, breathwork, and reflective activities in a safe, supportive space.

02

Social skill building

Group activities and mentorship help youth develop confidence, communication, and meaningful connections with peers who understand their journey.

03

Creative expression

Art-making programs encourage children to process experiences, build self-esteem, and discover their voice through painting, drawing, and mixed media.

04

Mentorship and support

One-on-one and group mentoring connects youth with caring adults who provide guidance, encouragement, and help them envision positive futures.

05

Wellness and yoga

Accessible yoga classes teach body awareness, stress relief, and self-care practices that children can use throughout their lives.
